Vanilla sourced from Heilala, a Tauranga-based company deeply connected with Tongan communities. Cacao nibs from the Solomon Islands roasted down the road by Solomons Gold. Coconut from the Philippines and Navel Oranges grown here in New Zealand. A small dose of Pacific Jade as Mount Brewing Co. choice of hops. A generous helping of sticky, new-season Rakau, Southern Cross and Motueka hops bring a dank citrus note bursting with fresh lime zest, passionfruit and pineapple. This punchy combo was topped with Hop Kief Nelson Sauvin just before packaging for a fresh hit of those delicious Nelson Sauvin notes. A stripped-back malt base and clean lager fermentation inspired by Pacific Coast's Lagerfest winning pilsner allows these flavours to pop and provide a clean and snappy finish.

So with that, Mount Brewing Co. and their mates at Vinequip have been inspired to make the most English beer they could think of! AN ESB! Yes that's right an English Special Bitter. Made using some fine English and New Zealand malts along with AEB AY3 Yeast, this beer is all about being clean and crip with dry biscuit flavours. Mount Brewing Co. went with AEB AY3 yeast to promote the rich fruity esters, balanced malt complexity and to draw focus from the weather outside and into the action in a pint. As for the hops they wanted to make the English classics shine so they combined their Fuggles and East Kent Goldings with American Citra to highlight these hops and what they're left with is a beer that's, Gert Lush Init!
