Cryo the Dragon is Mount Brewing's entry into this years Malthouse West Coast IPA challenge. Inspired by everybody's favourite fun loving, purple dragon and renamed to cryo because of the generous amount of cryo hops they added to the fermenter. Just like the video game this beer borrows its name from, Cryo the Dragon will have them gathering up their gemstones trying to get their hands on another can. Brewed with strata, Idaho 7, simcoe and chinook, paired with a Pilsner malt base to lean it out and let the hops shine through. Packed with flavours of citrus, pine and tropical fruit, along side a clean malt backbone with a bitter dry finish.
